Jo Kirkbride is a freelance classical music writer and journalist, specialising in programme notes and concert reviews.
After gaining her first class degree in Music from Cambridge University, Jo went on to study for both a Masters and Doctoral degree at Durham University, focussing on the music of Beethoven. She continues to be heavily involved in the world of classical music, with her roles as a performer and researcher augmenting her career as a writer.
